About Me

My name is Kirsten and I'm a novice writer. I've been writing for years--secretly, in the dark, in a social black hole. Last year I emerged, mentally at least, finally willing and eager to add my words to the pile. 

It has been very daunting to discover that I am brilliantly talented--and very, very far behind professionally. But the future looks bright! I am halfway into my first novel, a novel that is worth writing simply because I am in love with it. 

I've been given the opportunity to write the blog for TEDx High Point and I will be guest-blogging on the culinary website of a dear and very talented friend. 

Last but not least, I am signed up for the kind of freelance writing that is guided and rated. I look forward to improving!
