I don't jump into pools...

... but I'm going to just jump into this blog. No introduction, really, no mission statement, or exposition on my intents and goals. It's pretty simple: I'm going to do my best to capture the essence of my life in these blog posts, be they short and sweet or more novel.

I'm writing a novel, so I guess it's not very novel to have the word novel in my noggin right now.

Novel, novel, novel.

Does that word look funny yet???
